What's new at Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022 for 2022? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

This year our haunted house is going to be even bigger and definitely even better than the last. We’re creating more rooms, adding new special effects and have been buying and building tons of new props! We’re also going to be bringing back our best actors to ensure the most exciting experience possible.

What are you most excited about for the 2022 Halloween Season?

We’re thrilled to be making this years haunt a fundraiser for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta! They’re a wonderful organization that provides a fun camp for children who currently have or used to have cancer.

What differentiates Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022 from other local haunts in Vermont?

This is not your ordinary “lots of jump scares haunted house”, this is much more than that. Our haunted house takes over a month to build, and is carefully planned. Each room is different than the last and features unique special effects. There is so much detail in every room, we actually recommend going through it twice! Once for the scare and the second time to really take in each room.

How long has Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022 been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022's history?

The “Reeves’ Haunted House” has only run once before at this location. However, the creator Erika Reeves has been building haunted houses for years! She’s set them up at fundraisers, she’s built them in any house she’s lived in, she even built one at Regal Gymnastics one year! Her work is incredible and should definitely not be missed!

How long is a typical haunt experience at Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022 from start to finish?

The last time we did this event, the line to get in was anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour just to get in, but everyone said it was worth it! This year will be a little bigger than the last, so once we can do a walk through we’ll have a better idea of the time it takes to get through it.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022?

Every year we become more and more advanced with our haunted house tech. Erika’s (the creator) husband Tom is a master of special effects. He is always coming up with new ways to automate things and finding new lights and effects to use.

Can Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022 accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022 together as a group?

Only 1-3 people are allowed to go through at once. You can wait in line with your group, but once it’s time to go in, we’ll ask that you split our group up.

Does Reeves' Haunted House - OPEN 2022 offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

We’re only taking donations at the end of the haunted house, so there aren’t any discounts or coupons. However, we may be offering a “skip the line” deal with a big enough donation!
